Windy Meadow Graphic Design was founded in 2004 by Martin Bentley Krebs, principal owner and designer, after working more than 20 years in advertising and marketing design. The idea for the business's name, however, was hatched many years before, way back in elementary school.

Upon learning that the Old English origin of his middle name, Bentley was "bent lea," or "from the windy meadow," Martin decided that someday when he owned his own business, it would carry the name "Windy Meadow."
